Soccer Game Preview: Banks County vs. Rabun County

The Banks County Leopards will challenge the Rabun County Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Banks County's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Friday just wasn't the day for Banks County's offense. They lost 8-0 to Elbert County on Friday. While losing is never fun, Banks County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 424th, while Elbert County are ranked 205th).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Rabun County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Oglethorpe County a 1-0 shutout on Friday.

Banks County's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Rabun County, their win bumped their record up to 2-8.
