Softball Preview: Hart County Raiders vs. Campbellsville Eagles
The Hart County Raiders will head out to challenge the Campbellsville Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hart County hasn't scored more than two runs for three games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.
Hart County is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest loss since April 14th on Monday. They came up short against Larue County, falling 6-0.
Meanwhile, Campbellsville narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Boyle County 7-5.
Riley Underwood made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off nine hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
