Recap: Polo Panthers vs. Milan Wildcats
The Polo Panthers won against the Milan Wildcats last Friday with 43 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. Polo walked away with a 43-30 win over Milan. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Polo also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Milan's loss came despite strong showings from Marian Dabney and Emerson Pauley. Dabney scored 14 points along with three steals, while Pauley scored ten points along with three steals.
Polo's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Milan, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Polo will be home for the holidays to greet Putnam County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Putnam County and Polo are at an even 4-4 over their past eight head-to-heads. As for Milan, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Maysville at 6:00 p.m. on December 15th. Maysville is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
