Soccer Recap: Saint Andrew's Comes Up Short

Saint Andrew managed to keep up with King's Academy until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Saint Andrew's Scots lost 4-1 to the King's Academy Lions. The Scots have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Their goal came courtesy of Brie Berman, who's now up to four this season.

Saint Andrew's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for King's Academy, their record now sits at 12-2-4.

Saint Andrew's and King's Academy should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings. Saint Andrew's (ranked 80th) will meet Westminster Academy (ranked 287th) at 6:00 p.m. on January 28th. Meanwhile, King's Academy will face off against Oxbridge Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 27th up 90 places (36 vs. 126).
