Basketball Recap: New Haven Comes Up Short

New Haven played a tough matchup on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Warsaw Tigers and fell 105-21. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 59-17.

Warsaw got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Alexis Neely out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine rebounds. Neely is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Brooke Winchester, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 20 rebounds.

New Haven's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Warsaw, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 14-0.

New Haven didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-40 loss against Wawasee on the 4th. As for Warsaw, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 90-29 win against Chesterton on the 4th.
