HomeSchool Resource Center was the 2-0 winner over Westlake Christian Academy when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots fell 2-0 to the Eagles on Tuesday. The Patriots' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-18.

Ben Torres paced HomeSchool Resource Center's offense, picking up six kills. Torres got some help from Nick Dettlaff and his seven assists. Dettlaff was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

HomeSchool Resource Center's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Westlake Christian Academy, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-9.

HomeSchool Resource Center wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Calumet Christian on the 9th.
