Volleyball Recap: Bluffton Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Bluffton entered their tilt with Lima Central Catholic on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Thunderbirds by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Pirates, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 22-25, 25-19, 25-16.

Vanessa Cross had a dynamite game, getting 28 digs and three aces. Those 28 digs gave her a new career-high. Adelyn Althaus was another key player, getting 19 assists and four digs.

Bluffton's victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Lima Central Catholic, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-4.
