Soccer Recap: Lakeside Comes Up Short

Lakeside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Roosevelt Roughriders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Roosevelt this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-3 back in March.

Lakeside's loss dropped their record down to 1-5-1. As for Roosevelt, they now have a winning record of 4-3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakeside will welcome Lincoln at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Roosevelt, they will square off against Garfield at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
