Adair extended the longest winning streak in 2A District 7 this week by beating Westville, 41-13. The victory was the ninth in a row for the team.
Caney Valley and Chelsea played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Caney Valley eventually emerging with a 26-21 victory.
Caney Valley's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Trojans feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jared Ward has thrown for 1289 yards and eight touchdowns this season, while Drake Hines has 21 catches for 406 yards. Ward also leads the league in rushing with 707 yards.
A big matchup in 2A District 7 this week will be when Pawhuska takes on Adair. As it stands, the Huskies are in fourth, while Mark Lippe's team is in first.
Nowata took down Chouteau-Mazie 53-8 last week, the largest margin of any game.
