Lutheran Northwest won the last time they faced Bishop Foley and things went their way on Thursday too. The Crusaders had just enough and edged out the Ventures 2-1.

Despite the defeat, Bishop Foley had strong showings from Mary Maltese, who had 27 assists and four digs, and Rosie Lass, who had eight digs and four aces. Maltese has been hot recently, having posted 14 or more assists the last three times she's played.

Lutheran Northwest is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-14-1 record this season. As for Bishop Foley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-17-1 record this season.
