Cedar Catholic extended their winning streak to nine on Friday, bumping them up to 9-0. They put the hurt on the Norfolk Catholic Knights with a sharp 27-7 win. Considering the Trojans have won five matchups by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Grady Haberer threw for 122 yards and one touchdown. Quinn Hochstein was his top target, picking up 46 receiving yards. On the ground, Brady Hochstein rushed for 193 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 10.7 yards per carry.

As for Norfolk Catholic, they moved to 7-2 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak. Knights fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Cedar Catholic since Friday.

Despite the loss, Norfolk Catholic still got an impressive performance from Nathan Timmerman, who rushed for 118 yards and one score, and also picked up 44 receiving yards.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Cedar Catholic will take on Hershey at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Norfolk Catholic, they will challenge Yutan at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Timmerman and Kaleb Fenner.
