Football Recap: Ingram Moore Takes a Loss

Ingram Moore extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to five on Friday, dropping them down to 0-3. They took a 47-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Comfort Bobcats/Deer. While the Warriors didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bobcats/Deer 16-7 in the first quarter.

As for Comfort, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 41.7 points this season.

Comfort's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Hunter Ledlow, who rushed for 183 yards and three scores on only ten carries. Ledlow's longest rush was for an incredible 90 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Pape, who rushed for 114 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ingram Moore will take on Blanco at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Comfort, they will square off against Johnson City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
