Basketball Recap: Zion Christian Find Success

Zion Christian won the last time they faced Algoma Christian and things went their way on Monday too. The Zion Christian Mountaineers walked away with a 56-43 win over the Algoma Christian Knights.

Algoma Christian's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hudson Lockwood, who posted 15 points in addition to six boards and three steals. Rhys Kehoe was another key player, putting up ten points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.

Zion Christian's victory bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Algoma Christian, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-4.

Zion Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 59-45 win against Martin on the 26th. As for Algoma Christian, they have also already played their next game, a 65-46 victory against Butternut HomeSchoolers on the 25th.
