Volleyball Recap: McLane Comes Up Short

McLane was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sunnyside Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss last Tuesday.

McLane took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 25-14, 20-25, 25-16, 15-10.

McLane's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Sunnyside, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 17-19.

As of now, neither McLane nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
