Basketball Recap: Clint Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Clint extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Anabella Portillo. The Clint Lions came out on top in a nail-biter against the San Elizario Eagles on Tuesday, sneaking past 25-22 thanks in part to Portillo, who went 5 for 12 on her way to 10 points and eight rebounds. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 11 games she's played.

Clint is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. As for San Elizario, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-12.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Mountain View the next time they take the court. San Elizario will host Mountain View at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Clint will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on January 14th.
