Softball Recap: South Iredell Vikings vs. Davie War Eagles
South Iredell gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Davie War Eagles as the South Iredell Vikings made off with a 16-1 victory. This was payback for the Vikings, who suffered a 5-0 loss the last time these two teams met.
Addison Trego was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Trego was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
