Volleyball Recap: Girard Trojans vs. Frontenac Raiders
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Girard had no problem doing just that on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Frontenac Raiders. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in October.
The final score came out to 25-16, 25-19.
Erika Boatman paced Girard's offense, picking up ten kills. Boatman got some help from
Graci Murphy and her 23 assists.
Girard has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 34-10-1 record this season. As for Frontenac, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 33-12.
As of now, neither Girard nor Frontenac have any future games scheduled.
