Softball Game Preview: Laurel Hill Hoboes vs. Poplar Springs Atomics

The Laurel Hill Hoboes will take on the Poplar Springs Atomics at 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Laurel Hill and five for Poplar Springs.

Laurel Hill might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 16-1 to Florala, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Poplar Springs' offense. They lost 19-0 to Abbeville Christian Academy on Tuesday.

Laurel Hill's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Poplar Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Everything went Laurel Hill's way against Poplar Springs when the teams last played back in March, as Laurel Hill made off with a 23-13 win. Will the Hoboes repeat their success, or do the Atomics have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
