Basketball Recap: Skyline Drops Highest Score of Season Against Peoria

Skyline scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 69-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Peoria Panthers. Even though they lost, the Coyotes' still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 51.6 points per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

When it comes to explaining why Skyline lost, don't look at Isaiah Bowens. Despite the final result, he went 10-for-16 on his way to 24 points. Thanks to that strong game, Bowens now owns an excellent 45.5% shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Reyes, who posted 12 points and eight boards.

Skyline is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 50.8 points this season. As for Peoria, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.
