Basketball Recap: Graceville Snags Fifth Win in Last Six Games

It's playoff time, and Graceville had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 56-47 win over the Bethlehem Wildcats on Wednesday. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Wildcats last Friday, they had to take a 47-37 defeat.

Jamaris Gainer was the offensive standout of the contest as he went 6-for-7 on his way to 15 points and five rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 47% field goal percentage. Another player making a difference was Jaylin Washington, who posted eight points and six boards.

Bethlehem's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kolton Amerson, who earned 12 points. Marques Russell was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Graceville is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-12 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points over those games. As for Bethlehem, their defeat dropped their record down to 23-3.
