Ruidoso made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Raton, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Ruidoso blew past Raton 11-4 on Thursday. Considering the Warriors have won eight games by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Ruidoso pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.6 runs over those games. As for Raton, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ruidoso will welcome Sandia Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ruidoso's pitchers better be ready for this one: Sandia Prep has averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season. We've got a battle between Tigers coming up.
