Football Recap: Yorkville's Undefeated Season over After Seven Games

Yorkville lost against Oswego East back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Foxes fell 28-17 to the Wolves. The loss was the Foxes' first of the season.

Although Yorkville took the loss, they still got scores from Jayden Ruth and Gavin Geegan.

Having lost for the first time this season, Yorkville fell to 6-1. As for Oswego East, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Yorkville is set to take on their familiar foe Plainfield North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Oswego East will face off against rival Oswego at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Wolves 10.1, the Panthers 8.7) so any points scored will be well earned.
