Basketball Recap: Noah Salisbury's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Village Christian Academy over Northwood Temple Academy

Village Christian Academy lost against Northwood Temple Academy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Knights came up short against the Eagles, falling 55-34. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Noah Salisbury, who posted seven points in addition to eight boards and three steals. Jaxson May was another key player, putting up seven points.

Village Christian Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Northwood Temple Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Village Christian Academy will square off against New Life Christian Academy at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Northwood Temple Academy, they are taking a road trip to challenge Wayne Country Day at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will be up against the Chargers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 55.5 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
