The Browne Bruins are taking a road trip to take on the Dobson Mustangs at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Browne is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.1 runs per game this season.

Browne's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Tempe with a sharp 16-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Bruins, who have now won 11 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Browne got a massive performance out of Daniel Urias, who went 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI Urias has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Axel Inzunza, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, two RBI, and one double.

Browne was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .545. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Dobson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 13-0 to Skyline.

The victory made it two in a row for Browne and bumps their season record up to 11-7. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Dobson, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-23.

Dobson's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Browne hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .312. It's a different story for Dobson, though, as they've only averaged .172. Will they be able to contain Browne's hitters?

Browne got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against Dobson by a conclusive 8-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bruins since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
