Baseball Recap: Dawson-Bryant Takes a Loss

Dawson-Bryant lost against Ironton back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hornets lost 15-1 to the Fighting Tigers.

Dawson-Bryant saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaleb Schwab, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and one run.

Dawson-Bryant's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Ironton, they pushed their record up to 12-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Dawson-Bryant will challenge rival Rock Hill at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Ironton is set to square off against their familiar foe South Point at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
