Basketball Recap: Westview Comes Up Short

Westview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They had to suffer through a 60-29 loss at the hands of the Southridge Skyhawks. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 200th, while the Skyhawks are ranked 21st).

Westview's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Southridge, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-7.

Coming up, Westview will challenge Beaverton at 7:00 p.m. on February 18th. As for Southridge, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Aloha at 7:00 p.m.
