Volleyball Recap: Salt Fork's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Salt Fork waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Oakwood Comets by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Storm, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Salt Fork never let Oakwood on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-21.

Oakwood's loss came despite strong showings from Sophia Hart and Kendyl Rogers. Hart had 16 digs, while Rogers had 14 digs.

Salt Fork's record now sits at 15-7. As for Oakwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Salt Fork will face off against rival Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Oakwood is set to take on their familiar foe Georgetown-Ridge Farm at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
