Basketball Recap: Southfield Christian Comes Up Short

Southfield Christian has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 60-58 heartbreaker at the hands of the Plymouth Christian Academy Eagles. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Southfield Christian came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while Plymouth Christian Academy is ranked 467th).

Southfield Christian's loss dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Plymouth Christian Academy, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-10.

Southfield Christian will take on Oakland Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Plymouth Christian Academy, they will host Gabriel Richard at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
