Basketball Recap: Lake View Takes a Loss

Lake View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 35-30 heartbreaker at the hands of the Dillon Christian Warriors. The Wild Gators were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Lake View's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Dillon Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake View will challenge Green Sea Floyds at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dillon Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Florence Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
