Basketball Recap: Anderson Takes a Loss

Anderson came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 61-38 to the Riverview Pirates. The Titans haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Riverview's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kate Patterson, who posted 13 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. That's the most boards Patterson has posted since back in January of 2024. Caiya Hunter was another key player, putting up ten points along with five assists and three steals.

Anderson's loss dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Riverview, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-9.

Anderson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Riverview, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 43-34 defeat against Allen Park on the 7th.
