Volleyball Recap: Gustine Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Gustine lost against Denair back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Reds took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coyotes.

While Gustine ultimately came up short, they really made Denair work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 28-26, 25-6, 17-25, 25-19.

Despite the loss, Gustine still got an impressive performance from Adamaris Sierra, who had 13 kills, six digs, and four aces. Sierra has been hot recently, having posted five or more kills the last three times she's played. Jaclynn Lopez was another key player, getting five kills, five digs, and four aces.

Gustine has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Denair, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-4.
