Steeleville posted their closest win since October 4th on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Cobden Appleknockers. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Appleknockers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Steeleville got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-10, 18-25, 25-15.

Steeleville's victory bumped their record up to 18-12. As for Cobden, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 14-15.

Looking ahead, Steeleville will face off against Dupo at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cobden, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Crab Orchard at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
