Volleyball Recap: Red River Comes Up Short

Red River saw some tournament action on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Antonian Prep Apaches.

While Red River ultimately came up short, they really made Antonian Prep work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-18.

Red River's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Antonian Prep, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 29-12.

Looking ahead, Red River will take on Westminster Christian in a tournament on Saturday. As for Antonian Prep, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against John Paul II on the 26th.
