Preview: Palisades Pumas vs. South Point Red Raiders
The Palisades Pumas have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the South Point Red Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on December 1st. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard on Friday.
Last Tuesday, Palisades took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 86-36 victory over Forestview. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-19.
Palisades got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kingston Henry out in front who scored 16 points along with 5 assists. Joshua Truesdale was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals.
Meanwhile, South Point was just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 67-66 to Fort Mill.
The losses dropped Palisades to 2-2 and Forestview to 0-3.
