Baseball Recap: Millbrook Comes Up Short

The Millbrook Wildcats came up short against the Hunt Warriors on Saturday and fell 4-1.

Millbrook saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Smith Dickinson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Millbrook's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Hunt, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Millbrook will welcome Knightdale at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Hunt, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Southern Wayne at 7:00 p.m.
