Timpview has gone a perfect 4-0 against Cedar recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Thunderbirds will look to defend their home court against the Reds at 5:15 p.m. Timpview is looking for their season's first win.

Timpview is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Lehi on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Thunderbirds lost 57-37 to the Pioneers.

Meanwhile, Cedar came up short against Wasatch on Thursday, falling 73-53.

Timpview will have to contain Brooke Vargas as she made an impact in Cedar's last game. She posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Mya Bishoff, who earned ten points.

Cedar's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Timpview, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Timpview came out on top in a nail-biter against Cedar in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, sneaking past 41-38. Will the Thunderbirds repeat their success, or do the Reds have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
