Basketball Recap: Carver Find Success

Carver's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They snuck past the Kendrick Cherokees with a 74-69 win. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 77-45 victory the Cherokees walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2024.

Kendrick lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Noah Harris, who went 7-for-15 en route to 17 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Taven Leonard, who posted nine points and eight boards.

Carver now has a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carver is headed away from home for the first time to take on Alcovy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kendrick, they will head out to challenge Brookstone at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
