Volleyball Recap: Huntley Takes a Loss

Huntley was the 2-0 winner over Normal Community when they last played one another back in October of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Red Raiders took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ironmen on Saturday. The Red Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Lucy Watson paced Huntley's offense, picking up six kills. Watson got some help from Abby Whitehouse and her seven assists.

Huntley's defeat dropped their record down to 24-8. As for Normal Community, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-5 record this season.

Huntley has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Glenbard West on the 18th. As for Normal Community, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Prairie Ridge on the 18th.
