Basketball Recap: Uplift Elevate Prep's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday

It was a good run, but Uplift Elevate Prep unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 53-45 to the Bethesda Christian Lions.

Uplift Elevate Prep's loss came despite strong showings from Brian Bowie and Sir Titan Tasby. Bowie posted 16 points and four steals, while Tasby went 6-for-10 to rack up 15 points and five rebounds. Bowie is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Delano Hill, who scored six points and 12 boards.

Uplift Elevate Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Bethesda Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Uplift Elevate Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 64-61 win against Christian Life Preparatory on the 22nd. As for Bethesda Christian, they have also already played their next contest, a 55-41 loss against Trinity Valley on the 22nd.
