Softball Recap: Foran Picks Up 14th Straight Win at Home

On Tuesday Foran's undefeated season almost came to an end. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over the Law Lawmen. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Lions have posted since May 8th.

Abigail Corris spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on five hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in 21 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Maddie Deldin was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Norah Bove, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Foran's win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-0. As for Law, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Foran nor Law have any future games scheduled.
