Baseball Recap: Eleanor Roosevelt's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Eleanor Roosevelt's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They never let the Wise Pumas get on the board and left with a 17-0 victory. Considering the Raiders' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

DJ Fuller made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out eight over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs.

In other batting news, John Burke and Cannon Knight did most of the damage at the plate: Burke went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI, while Knight went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Rhys Coxen, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three runs and three RBI.
