Education Brings Leadership & Achievement falls despite strong effort from Terrell Murray

After flying high against Central Georgia Arts last Friday, Education Brings Leadership & Achievement came back down to earth. Education Brings Leadership & Achievement fell 43-33 to Covington Academy on Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Education Brings Leadership & Achievement has scored all season.
When it comes to explaining why Education Brings Leadership & Achievement lost, one person who can't be blamed is Terrell Murray. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds. Murray scored a full 51.5% of Education Brings Leadership & Achievement's points, the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Education Brings Leadership & Achievement now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Covington Academy, their win bumped their record up to 1-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Education Brings Leadership & Achievement will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Forest at 6:00 p.m. on January 12, 2024. Covington Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face CrossPointe Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 11th.
