Volleyball Recap: Roanoke Rapids Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Roanoke Rapids can now relate to. They came up short against the Clinton Dark Horses on Saturday, falling 3-0. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Roanoke Rapids took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-17, 25-20.

Roanoke Rapids' defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Clinton, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Roanoke Rapids nor Clinton have any future games scheduled.
