Volleyball Recap: Hamilton Takes a Loss

If Hamilton was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of West Shores last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Hamilton fell just short of the Nuview Bridge Knights by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Bobcats in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost five in a row.

Hamilton started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 22-25, 24-26, 25-23, 25-16, 15-8.

Konner C was nothing short of spectacular for Nuview Bridge: he had 22 digs and five aces.

Hamilton's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Nuview Bridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Hamilton will face off against Desert Christian Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Hamilton is facing Desert Christian Academy at the right time seeing as Desert Christian Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Nuview Bridge, they will be playing at home against California Military Institute at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
