Basketball Game Preview: St. Henry Crusaders vs. Conner Cougars

Having just played yesterday, the St. Henry Crusaders will head out on the road to face off against the Conner Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Wednesday, St. Henry ended up a good deal behind Campbell County and lost 70-51. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 98th, while the Camels are ranked 21st).

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Conner duked it out with Scott County on Tuesday. Conner took a 59-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Scott County.

This is the second loss in a row for St. Henry and nudges their season record down to 12-14. As for Conner, their loss dropped their record down to 10-16.

St. Henry didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Conner when the teams last played back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 47-43 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for St. Henry since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
