Warren County picks up 11th straight win at home

Recap: Warren County Screaming Devils vs. Washington-Wilkes Tigers

The Warren County Screaming Devils won the last time they faced the Washington-Wilkes Tigers, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Warren County came out on top against Washington-Wilkes by a score of 55-42. Given Warren County's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 155th, while Washington-Wilkes is ranked 400th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Warren County got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Courtney Bray out in front who scored 17 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. That's the first time this season that Bray pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jailee Allen, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.

Warren County pushed their record up to 14-4 with that win, which was their 11th straight at home. As for Washington-Wilkes, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Greene County the next time they take the court. Warren County will head out to face Greene County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Washington-Wilkes will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
