Softball Recap: Morrow Mustangs vs. Dutchtown Bulldogs
If Morrow was riding high fresh off their 13-5 takedown of Banneker on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Morrow Mustangs came up short against the Dutchtown Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 15-3. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Morrow saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jerbria Twillie, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
Morrow's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Dutchtown, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-7.
Morrow will challenge Langston Hughes at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Langston Hughes is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season. Dutchtown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
