After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Atascadero, Morro Bay was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the St. Joseph Knights. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Pirates as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Morro Bay was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-19, 25-17.

Morro Bay's win bumped their record up to 18-22. As for St. Joseph, their loss dropped their record down to 12-10.

Morro Bay wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Mission College Prep on the 16th. Hopefully St. Joseph paid attention to the Pirates' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Pirates at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
