Basketball Recap: Oglesby Takes a Loss

After flying high against Gholson last Tuesday, Oglesby came back down to earth. The Oglesby Tigers were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 35-34 to the Abbott Panthers. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 66-58.

Oglesby's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Abbott, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Oglesby does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Abbott, they will head out to challenge Jonesboro at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
