Baseball Recap: Carthage Comes Up Short

The Carthage Tigers came up short against the Lee's Summit West Titans on Saturday and fell 6-2.

Carthage has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for Lee's Summit West, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-8.

Coincidentally, Carthage and Lee's Summit West will both be playing Springfield Catholic the next time they take the field. The Titans will host the Fighting Irish at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 4:00 p.m.
